4.1. Overview of Step 4: Advocate, Discuss
In this Step 4, you are going to create your Democratic Values Project–a multimedia presentation of the democratic values that you think are most important for healing and unifying our country. Then you can share your project in the Democratic Values Forum and you can comment on and appreciate the presentations of other students.

• Discussion and Debate: Learn to engage in ongoing discussion and debate around the most
important democratic values. (Steps 4.4)
• Persuasive Speech: Learn to write and deliver a persuasive speech. (Step 4.3)
• Multimedia Presentation: Learn to use multimedia apps to support persuasive speeches.

4.2. Outline Your Point of View About What Values Can Guide Us to Heal and Unify Our Country
In Step 4, building on your presentation and discussion in Step 3, you will first choose the values that you want to advocate and outline your thoughts why these are important unifying values.
4.3. Develop Your Democratic Values Project

4.4. Share and Discuss Your Democratic Values Project
Finally, you can respond to other people's points of view either in Flipgrid or in the Democratic Values Forum where you can attach your final projects.
